2010 Minitrial

Beta Minitrial

For 2010 Beta is also retaining in the catalogue its well-known MINITRIAL, but has given it a makeover, as in the case of the EVO80 Junior, so as to improve the bond between the young rider (6-9 years old) and the bike.

The bike sports a 16” front wheel and a 14” rear, so even the smallest rider can touch the ground easily.

Compared with previous versions, the handlebar and foot controls have been modified to make them more practical and easier for children to recognize and use.
In the same way, the clutch assembly has been redesigned for maximum operability in the kind of use typical of children.

The 2009 version of the Beta MINITRIAL is even lighter than its predecessor, another important factor, thanks to the replacement of some of the steel components with light alloy equivalents.

Engine and suspension have more performance than in the past: notice particularly the completely new front forks, with mounting points for the front brake system, another new feature on this model, equipped with a master cylinder, 160 mm disc and single piston caliper.

Overall the MINITRIAL is well thought-out and above all gritty, as a real motorcycle must be, thanks to a striking set of graphics and new colors. The headlamp cowl has good looks, too, in line with the design for the Evo 80.

Other features:

  • New wheel hubs in pressure-cast aluminum. lighter and more rigid
  • 32-hole wheels for greater lightness
  • 150 mm rear brake with floating mechanical caliper
  • Higher-performance exhaust system
  • New air filter box to optimize engine breathing
  • Changeover to Dell’Orto 14 mm PHVA carburetor with external adjustments for improved performance and more consistent operation.
